Here we shall collect ideas for the social programme.
Erasmus IPs are well known for their varied social programmer's
mostly in the form of sight seeing tours combining fun and culture
over the weekend.
Please send your suggestion to the organizers.
On Saturday Sept 3, 25 participants of CPOTS2011 took
part in an organized excursion to the famous Samaria gorge. They
first arrived at Omalos, trekked through the 18km Samaria gorge,
swam in the Libyan sea on the beach of Agia Roumeli, lunched at
a local restaurant and then took the boat back to Chora Sfakion
and caught their bus back to Heraklion. That night everybody slept
very well.
For CPOTS2012 an equally exciting but less physically
vigorous outing took place: An excursion by bus (and boat) to the
island Spinalonga, a tour of the Spinalonga fortress and the presently
ongoing art
exhibition of internationally acclaimed artist Costas Tsoklis,
swim off the boat and return to the mainland of Plaka followed by
another swim and a meal. Then a trip into the nearby city of Agios
Nikolaos for a final coffee before going back to the hotel in Amoudara.
